Stained glass at St John the Baptist’s Anglican Church http://www.stjohnsashfield.org.au, Ashfield, New South Wales. Illustrates Jesus’ description of himself “I am the Good Shepherd” (from the Gospel of John, chapter 10, verse 11). This version of the image shows the detail of his face. The memorial window is also captioned: “To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of William Wright. Died 6th November, 1932. Aged 70 Yrs.” (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

We spent the day in Banjara Villages among the Gypsies.  It was long
distances in truly remote area of the mountains.
At Yellapuram we went to dedicate a water well given by Pat Spencer
family in Ft. Collins, Co.  This well went to depth of 280′
Have to pump a bit but water is sweet and all are so thankful!!!
There is a church coming up, but the tribals are not taught the Word
of God as yet.  only 5 adults and many children, but we shared Gods
Word and they were so slow to respond in every way!  Seven years and
very limited fruit for the brother here.  This was our first time to
this village.  Many would come to look in doorway, but would not
enter…

Go to Kamballapalli area to dedicate a church built in memory of
Pastor Leo Guthrie who pastored 42 years at Stigler AG.  This place
was a huge blessing!!  Banjara Tribe, but 13 years being taught and
when Jeff asked how many know they would have eternal life, immediate
every one of 25 adult hands shot up!!
We were all sitting in the shade of one end of church.  Roof beams are
being welded, but still need floor, plaster etc…
We did teaching on giving and these are truly givers!!  Every person
stood to give and collected 80,000 which we matched to finish the
church!!  Truly they have joy and eagerness and the men lead the way.
30 men, 25, women and 35 kids in the church…
700 families in the village, but only 30 Christian families so far.
These were all Banjara, but these chose LIFE AND BLESSING, were in
unity, givers and eagerness in the Lord!!

We went 5 miles down the road to dedicate a church given by Wainwright
AG.  Here the 10 adults had big smile, but not yet taught fully Gods
Word!
They need to do more on the church with floor and plaster, but we can
not give yet because they first must learn to be givers.  We taught
and put chickens in each hand so they can learn the lessons of
giving…  They all stood in a circle inside the church on the
gravel-sand floor and lay hands on the chicken money and pledge to
multiply the chickens and buy stones for the floor.  When we get
report on their tithing, we will help more!!

Coming out of the mountains, the jeep tire was punctured by huge
thorns.  As the 5 guys lifted the jeep to get it on the jack, 3 casual
labour women came along.  Melody shared Christ with them on the
roadside.  They listened well until they learned they can serve only 1
God.  They asked money and walked away…

Life and death, blessing and curse is each of our choice!!

Choose LIFE, choose BLESSING!!

Kerry, Melody, and Jeff
