Walk in FAITH (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Faith:  According to Wikipedia, “Faith is confidence or trust in a person, thing, deity, or in the doctrines or teachings of a religion. It is also belief that is not based on proof.

According to the Bible:

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)

There are many more scriptures with “Faith” messages. The simplest scriptures are those that I want to talk about today. First, that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” as written in Hebrew 11 which is considered the “Faith” chapter.  So if we hope for something that seems out of our reach, do we give up seeking it? Or do we reach with faith, prayerfully seeking what our heart desires or what God has been placed in our heart.

Now, the next one is “for we walk by faith, not by sight”. Some may ask what this means. Well, it means that even though we don’t see it in the natural, we keep walking toward it, preparing for it, because it is coming … We trust in what God has placed in our hearts and though many may think that we are crazy, we just keep walking in faith. We believe that we will receive. We expect the unexpected…

Dear Lord, I pray that many will hold onto You and learn to trust You totally for everything… no matter what we see around us. Nothing is impossible with You. Increase our faith and help us to walk in faith, not by sight… in Jesus’ name. Amen.
