Bullying Hurts its Victims

how-to-stop-a-bully

Bullying hurts its victims,
destroying their self-esteem.
The problem needs addressing.
even before kids are teens.

This problem is increasing,
with bullies acting like slave masters.
Pushing and ordering victims around,
and leading many to disasters.

For bullying affects their decisions,
more than reading, writing, or math.
It affects their whole life,
and how they choose their path.

Bullies abuse kids at schools,
then continue abuse when grown.
This abuse affects many families,
and the devastation is well-known.

Anti-bullying programs…
is needed in every school I say.
It’s a topic we need to master!
It may save a victim’s life today.

Teaching kids how to treat others,
all with kindness and respect.
It’s no less than we deserve,
and what we should all expect.

Matthew 7:12 (NLT)
The Golden Rule
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.”

Lord, we ask You to break the cycle of abuse that continues into the schools and workplaces with bullying everyday. We ask You to heal the brokenhearted from this abuse and deliver them from their oppressors. Protect our children and raise up a generation to stand for Righteousness, where all will be treated with Love and respect as You have set the standard for which we should all live… in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  1. Secret Angel, I deal with this daily as a teacher. Young children, who have learned by the young age of 5-10, how to lash out verbally at others in anger. They learn it from somewhere-as a regular part of the “in between teaching kids to read and calculate” , I focus on the kids interactions-teach empathy, respect, and boundaries. I name my world, wherever I am, as a “safe place”, where bullies are not allowed to have free reign! It’s not a lesson that is learned quickly, for each new day brings a new batch of emotions and experiences to the room. Praying with you for God to raise up His army in the schools💛

    • I can only imagine the amount of bullying that any teacher sees. I praise God that He has placed loving, righteous teachers into schools like yourself to teach the students the right way. God bless you!
