“Likewise also the Spirit helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26, 27).

There are times when we become overwhelmed with the complexities of this life, and sometimes we just cannot find the words to express our deepest feelings and hurt when praying. It is at those times that the Holy Spirit goes into action interpreting our tears and groanings before God, and says to the Father, “Through all of your servant’s tears this is what he was trying to say.”

Never fear, God knows how to read our tears, especially when we are unable to put our tears, fears and emotions into words that make sense. Read what the psalmist…
