PASTORS & FRIENDS: This Sunday, January 18th, is 2015’s National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Typically it is the 3rd Sunday of January, usually the Sunday before the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. President Ronald Reagan designated this day in remembrance and reflection of the sacred life of every person, born and unborn; the sanctity of LIFE:
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
AND: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” (1Corinthians 3:16-17)
PASTORS, will you preach a message of Life to your church January 18th? My fear is that Pastors will shrug the responsibility of this day AGAIN because they simply will not preach against sexual sin and abortion. We are a woeful nation that will not stand up or in the gap of every unborn child doomed to legal execution.
FRIENDS, will you share this day with your friends and family? Do they know about this day set aside just for our unborn little ones and those that cannot speak for themselves?
OBSERVATION: ‘President’ Bill Clinton discontinued the practice or recognition of Sanctity of Human Life Day throughout his eight years in office, however Bush’s [H.W.] son and Clinton’s successor, George W. Bush, resumed the proclamation that Reagan started back in 1984.
2015 is the 42st anniversary of the signing of Roe; 42 years of legal execution of the unborn, 42 years of unnamed will-never-be-born children, 42 years of heart-broken post abortive women and men….AT LEAST 56+ MILLION DEAD.
Roe v. Wade was first intended for poor and minority women; but now use rape victims, incest victims, babies with disabilities, the unfaithful, teenagers and the rest to continue with its agenda to kill the unwanted and unplanned. This was proven in the Roe ‘decision’ when the pregnant woman in question was pregnant from a string of bad life choices rather than a ‘hard case’ [less than 1% of all abortions]. Thusly, women would rather kill their offspring than to be a LIFE GIVER to the life entrusted to her by God.
Attorney Thomas Dillon [VIDEO] said regarding Roe, “Once you allow the taking of innocent human life at the earliest stages of its development merely to suit someone’s convenience, how do you protect that human life at any other point? What about the child’s right?”
SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE? While watching an abortion-related program on PBS (and there are MANY), a woman said that she prayed and God gave her peace to get her abortion. Now, there are many things I do not know…but this one thing I do: GOD WILL NEVER TELL ANYONE TO GET AN ABORTION, EVER. Pregnancy is not the unborn child’s fault; why kill an unborn child for a poor decision?
SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE: Birth is NOT the beginning or origin of LIFE; it is simply the arrival. God is the originator of LIFE; He is the Creator. Every person, born and unborn, has a right to LIFE. Some children may not make it out of the womb, but I assure you that they are known by God BEFORE they were ever created in the womb (Jer 1:5).
HAPPY SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE DAY! If you are still unsure of the sanctity of human, unborn life, watch this video…it will chill you to the bone. #lovethemboth

Though You say You delight in me,
I find no comfort.
Though You say You love me,
I cannot feel.
And through my sorrow I see dimly
Because the enemy seeks me;
I loathe my encompassing skin
And know the serpent is watching.
What of the night, where is the Watchman?
My soul quakes in joy and apprehension.
Where is my Salvation
In the darkest of hours?
While I mourn and lament
Your promises come!
As You have pledged,
I will have peace.
Even through a renewed affliction
I hear Your voice.
Even in the darkest of the day
I have Your assurances!
O Lord, I am not alone and I am not forsaken;
For I am Yours forever and You are mine.
I will Praise You forever!
I am Yours!
My prayers have been answered
In the midst of my mourning.
My Life as a Christian
or, The failure of CHRISTmas.
It’s Christmastime…that time of year! Or to me, a time to witness people trample over Christ to cheap adornments, cheap gifts and perceived traditions that keep Christ OUT of Christmas. Everyone loves a holiday, loves to say ‘Christmas’ but have no intentions of including Christ.
Christmas is a time when Christians celebrate the birth of the Savior; whether it was His actual birthday is not important…we don’t mind having Presidents Day or Martin Luther King Day off from work when that day does not reflect their actual birthdays.
In Redmond and Seattle, Washington, “It’s OK to say Merry Christmas” signs were called ‘not sensitive‘ and ‘alienates other religions‘. I’m pretty darned sure that ‘other religions‘ don’t have anything to do with Christmas anyway. But as usual, people want the holiday, but not Christ.
Without Christ, there would be no Christmas. I can’t make that any simpler. If you don’t want Christ in Christmas, then go to work on December 25th…..and a ‘Happy Holidays’ to ya.
In true Christianity, the Bible teaches us to discern and teach against false doctrine. We are to be a ‘watchman on the wall‘, not passive. Passivity causes slumber, slumber causes CULT. Then, if you are a Christian and don’t care about what CHRISTmas is, then you are in slumber.
There is no middle road, no gray area…either Christmas is about Jesus Christ or it’s about YOU.
My Life as a Christian
I cried, but no one heard.
I was hurt, but no one helped.
I fought alone to no avail,
I waited, but no one came.
I saw, but couldn’t remember.
I heard, but couldn’t discern.
I held out my hand, but it came back empty.
My heart hurt, and no one comforted me.
How can I love when I receive none,
Where is the delight in life?
Is it in the mirror looking back at me
Or is it in the eyes of another?
Lord! Come closer, be near me
Because my fight is harder than ever.
You are my only Joy, my Salvation
From a life of tears and remorse.
I have lost so much and gained little.
This world has spewed me out
But it won’t let me go.
Let me go, world…I am not yours.
But I look up and see my Abundance
In a face I have not yet met.
His beauty is infinite, His love is unmatched.
Just a little while longer, He says, You are not done.
I hold my hands up to Him in Praise
and seek His warmth with sweet tears.
I am yours, I say, I am yours!
Touch me today, Lord…Touch me today!
I am a stranger, a sojourner in this world.
My woes are His, but the consequences are mine.
I look to Him, I Praise His name!
Until I cross that River, I will rest in Him!
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Unimaginable. To think that a young girl, barely marriageable, was chosen to be the vessel God would use for the birth our Savior, Jesus Christ. And even more unimaginable is her Faith in whom she heard this Good News!
“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45
The New Testament reflects what the Prophet Isaiah said regarding the birth of The Redeemer:
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet [Is 7:14], saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:22-23
Why was Mary so special to God for Him to choose her? It has to be assumed that Mary’s heart to some degree, while yet a sinner by nature through the fall of Adam, had a level of receptive purity toward God. This would fulfill the sovereign Plan of God.
While Mary’s lineage went back to King David, the Bible doesn’t say who her parents were. However, the Scriptures do tell us her husband’s lineage [Luke 3:23, Matthew 1:16], both Mary and Joseph being descendants of David [Romans 1:3]. They seemed ‘common’, but they were chosen.
Though Mary was chosen by God, she still needed to answer the Call. Mary believed, through Faith alone, that her sacrifice would change the world.
Unimaginable…but Mary believed.

Divisiveness is what kills a great outreach. It’s the best excuse that Pastors use to stay away from an uncomfortable ministry at the abortion facilities – AND laziness. So, this prompted me to tell the short story of how this Evangelical Christian was moved to get into Prolife Ministry by Catholics and others.
Many so-called prolife ministries want to be so divisive that they step over the dead aborted babies to get to the prolifer that’s ‘doing it wrong’. These people use a Bible with pages missing to further their agenda. This has been ongoing, nothing new…but it definitely needs to stop, particularly when violence erupts from this cult. Read that here.
How did you get into prolife ministry? For me, I had three life changing moments:
- I saw a man, alone, carrying a huge crucifix pacing in front of what looked like an office building. I realized it was an abortion facility. I had to face my own abortion, I had to face God and repent, and I finally met that faithful witness years later. [Thanks to Richard Mahoney]
- I went to my first 40 Days for Life rally. Bryan Kemper of Stand True [youth director of Priests for Life] was the speaker, I was scared to death to face this publicly, I was asked to join the 40 Days leadership team a year later. [Thanks to the 40 Days team]
- I was asked to testify for the Heartbeat Bill. I told my post abortive testimony in both committees at the Ohio Statehouse for the Heartbeat Bill. My story was now part of public record for everyone to hear, no going back. Testifying for this bill catapulted me into full time prolife ministry. [Thanks to Janet Porter and my husband]
In these three points there was no mention of a church helping me or the prolife movement in any way. We received some well wishes and monetary support, but no one showed up on the sidewalk more than once. This is when we realized that this prolife ministry is a remnant within the remnant and on our own.
Too many people in the evangelical world rests on their blessed assurance saying that prolife ministry is a ‘catholic thing’, too political and/or controversial. On this side of the pulpit, we call it LAZY and selective.
Prolife ministry is a GOSPEL thing, it is bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the street and the sidewalk. Pastors need to come out from behind the pulpit and do the work that Jesus did: Taking the message of hope to the lost, the hopeless, and the afflicted TO the street and TO the sidewalk. Evangelicals are called judgmental by many, but it’s the evangelical Pastors who have already judged prolife ministry as an offense to their church. ABORTION IS AN OFFENSE! And Pastors that do nothing offends ME and has deemed unborn life to be not as important as themselves or their coffers.
In the area in which we live and minister, over 800K people and HUNDREDS of churches surround ONE ABORTION FACILITY and still hardly anyone comes while some claim to be prolife.
A great example: a woman at the Heartbeat Bill Prayer Rally said she is part of a 8000 member mega church in the Columbus area and said to me that they don’t do anything prolife outside of the church property lines, and for that she feels they are lacking. She’s right. And I am the first person that will tell you I appreciate outreaches that supply clothes, formula and diapers…but they hide behind a huge pulpit rather than stepping out to the two abortion facilities within their city limits to spread the GOSPEL which saves LIVES.
I am so thankful that God directed me to this ministry which has TOTALLY offended my family – but the Bible says that in these last days this would happen because:
“v48 For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more……v51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. v52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.v 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:48, 12:51-53
Abortion and prolife ministry is an offense to the Church rather than a ministry opportunity to changes lives.
My dear prolife friends and ministers who continue to be in this fight for LIFE, be ENCOURAGED! We are few in number but great in the eyes of God!
“v19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; v20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. v21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

I’ve written often of the hatred of human life from those that consider toleration to be more important than what God has created. We are a society of drones rather than children of God. I happened upon a blog that said:
“…we have lost our hatred of death. We have become indifferent to it. We have come to assume it is natural, normal, no big deal. Why don’t we despise it or reject it as hideous anymore? Have we forgotten that we were created by God to live, not to die?”
I would go further with how our society EXPECTS death rather than fighting for it. It is a sad, sad world where we band together for homeless dogs and cats but allow abortion facilities to exterminate humans.
This apathetic ‘live and let die’ attitude feeds on people who have not sold out to God. Our love for each other has shifted to empowering the entitled classes and an uninterested Church. We feed the ego rather than the hungry; we succumb to the wiles of the culture of death while we shout an occasional ‘hallelujah’.
This writer/minister knows that we may not see an end to this extermination until Jesus comes again; we are aware of the scriptures and the expected end. Then why continue, you ask…simple: Every soul has value to God and He expects us to ‘Go into ALL the world and preach the Gospel TO EVERY CREATURE’. We are His workmanship, so are they…born AND unborn.
This ‘culture of death’ that we reside in – shouldn’t live in – seeks the souls of us, not just the physical parts of us. Not one person is expendable for any reason, not one soul is accidental.
How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

THAT is probably the number one question I am most often asked, after “Don’t you people have a job?” People are funny…
In my mind’s eye, I see a crucified Jesus dying on a cross for me…bloodied, bludgeoned, humiliated. He died a public death for ME and my sinful past that cannot be erased from my memory or the history that others insist on remembering, you know….just in case I forgot 😉
My Faith is in my risen LORD. It is His shed Blood which washed my sin away never to be remembered again. Then, it is up to ME to rest in His finished work on the Cross, that I AM FORGIVEN and that NO ONE can take that away from me. EVER.
My dear sisters in the LORD: If you have had an abortion, I understand what you are going through, I have carried that bag. You do not have to carry this heavy burden any longer! TRUST IN JESUS – He will forgive, He will LOVE you, He will protect you!
Way too often I hear how God cannot possibly forgive them. NOTHING can be further from the truth! It isn’t God who won’t forgive, it’s people…people that you TRUST who will try to separate you from God by reminding you of your past. Relative righteousness is how people feed off other’s miseries and histories. Do not be fooled, God is not MOCKED; He will make beauty FROM ashes!
We need to require more from our friends and family who seek to keep us under subjection to THEM.
We are His, We are forgiven, We will NOT be forsaken.
Jesus said: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” [Matthew 11:28-30]

For there to be a testimony, there has to be a test. And as Christians, we are tested all the time. In a time when a woman finds herself pregnant at the very worst time, God tells us it’s never bad time to be the life giver He made women to be. Since the foundation of the WORLD we have been known by God, each with a divine purpose only He can give.
Being on the sidewalk, we hear so many ‘reasons’ why they can’t have their baby. But there are no reasons…not ONE…good enough to kill an innocent unborn child entrusted to the parents by God.
What a blessing to read this incredible testimony given by God’s woman, a woman who follows Him no matter what. After all, lemonade tastes much better than sour, bitter lemons.
Thank you God’s woman, for sharing this incredible testimony, and thank you for choosing LIFE: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ,” [Gal 6:2]
Written in her own hand, enjoy this beautiful testimony:
One year ago today at this time I was saying hello for the first time to my 2nd little bundle of joy, Zachary! I knew as soon as I found out he was a boy that the Lord put the name Zachary on my heart for him. I knew the meaning of the name at the time but I didn’t know why in particular the Lord wanted me to name him it until after he was born. You see I’m not going to go into details but a few months before Zach’s birth I started going through one of the worst times of my life and it was something completely out of my control. There was nothing I could do to avoid or help the situation but I had to just deal with it and do it 7 months pregnant at that! The beauty of being a child of God though is that I didn’t have to deal with it on my own but as always my Heavenly Father was right there by my side taking care of me in any way He could. If I only had the time to tell you all how many ways God has showed me how much He loves me and has had my back through this thing! One of the biggest ways was by Him giving me Zach. Before his birth I honestly was a little worried about how I was going to take care of a newborn and a 3 year old in my emotional state but after he was born and I spent a little time with him I understood immediately why the Lord gave me the name Zachary for him. Zachary means “God remembered” so you see in a time of deep despair God remembered me and gave me a literal bundle of joy! He really is just the happiest most laid back baby ever and has been since his birth. You can pretty much guarantee a laugh out of him whenever you see him. Of course my 3 year old already made me smile and laugh everyday no matter what but the Lord gave me another little blessing to make me smile and laugh even more despite what I was going through. Words can’t even describe the love I have for my 2 little boys and the joy that they bring to my life! [Anonymous]
The Bible says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Well, to be sure IF you are doing it wrong, there has to be a benchmark to judge by. And right now, I see none in the region where we live and witness.
Being a Christian comes with responsibilities to others, and not just the ‘pretty’ ones. How many times have prolife ministries come churches to be a presence on the sidewalk? But do they come? Not many, if any at all.
Okay, how many times has prolife ministries mentioned through social media a prolife ministry opportunity and hardly anyone shows?
Hmmm, and why won’t Pastors do anything outside of the box on the other side of their church doors? How many Pastors are within a quarter mile distance from the abortion facility and NEVER come to the sidewalk to pray? Is the planned execution of the unborn NOT ministry?
In a four county metro area, there are over 840K residents, and HUNDREDS of churches that circle just ONE ABORTION FACILITY. Still, no one comes. They know the need, they understand the fate of nearly every unborn baby that goes there…still no one comes.
We go to the Statehouse to protest and testify for our precious unborn, to legally further their rights as citizens to be protected. Very few Pastors come to rally at the Capital for the ‘least of these’, if any at all.
WE HAVE TO FIGHT THE OPPRESSION THAT KEEPS CHRISTIANS AND PASTORS FROM MINISTERING TO THE LOST AND DYING IN OUR OWN BACK YARD!
Christians, you’re doing it wrong. Just because you don’t go doesn’t mean abortion went away. The sidewalk is still there, full of grief and pain. The sidewalk needs every one of us to go and pray.
Jesus said, “All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.” [Matthew 25:32-33]
The Church allowed abortion, now it’s time to take it back. Go to the sidewalk, tell your Pastor to go to the sidewalk….and PRAY.
